GUIDE TO EVENTS CODES: To help you quickly find the type of event that interests you, we have created the following codes:

BAR: Bar or club event, where alcohol is served, includes festivals and block parties.
SOC: Social event, where alcohol is unlikely to be present.
SHO: Show: Theater, dance, movie, film festival, etc
BIZ: Business event, whether networking or educational. This includes commercial events that do not fit into the SOC or BAR categories.
EDU: Events where the main focus is on learning about specific topics.
ACT: Political or social activism events.
