While wandering the streets of Portland we decided to drop into this bar for a quick beer. The decor was decidely ready for Halloween with black lights and large spiders adorning the walls. The service was fast and friendly, the bartender was dancing to Etta James. Since it was a Sunday and early, there wasn’t much going on and only a couple of other people in the place.

Boxxes is always a good time. THe staff is very welcoming, the drinks are strong and reasonably priced. Gay or straight it is a comfortable place to be! Dan, steve, and heather are awesome. Sunday nite bingo from 10-12 is the place to be! Off the hook fun!!!

Fun and open atmosphere, no censoring! Our Thursday evening started out slow but somehow they fit a ton of people in there. Some *creative* videos playing. Great karaoke songs and lots of lyric-screens although it was hard to see the singers from our table. Non-smoking was a huge bonus
