I just got a postcard in the mail advertising events at Vault Martini that you are marketing. Lovely. I’m interested in knowing if you have any negative feedback due to the postcard vs a more discrete type of mailing.
Hot Flash Dances are women’s dances held monthly for the past four years in Portland. We bring in about 400 per dance. We are opening two new dances in Portland with different demographics and wonder how we might work together to market them. One demographic is the older more isolated lesbian and the other is the 20-30something gender queer market.
I would also like to inquire about getting listed on Q-Portland. The click here button to list free businesses does not work for me.
Finally, do you do any lesbian marketing in other cities — specifically Philadelphia and Phoenix?

I am very familiar with Hot Flash Dances. I also attended several of the Gimlets and Garters parties that you co-hosted with West Duncan in 06/07.
To answer your first question, the response that we (Innovative Ingenuity) have received from all of our QT event marketing and advertising has been nothing but spectacular and positive.
Our postcard mailing is directed to our QT regulars, members of PABA, supporters of BRO and Vault patrons. We also provide Vault with online marketing, LGBT specific advertising and guerilla marketing targeted to our community. Our efforts have been intimate, yet on a large scale.
QT attracts a mix of lgbt women and men, who enjoy quality company, martinis and the environment of Vault. The event has raised several thousand dollars in proceeds for Basic Rights Oregon.
We do not have any lesbian specific marketing projects in Philadelphia or Phoenix. However, we do have many clients in other cities. Some of our clients have local marketing needs, other s national.
